When our i-glamour social media maven Alison rocked up to work with ultra smooth and straight hair, we just had to get the goss on how she achieved such impeccably sleek hair. Here’s how Alison did it:

Step by Step for Smooth, Straight Hair

Step 1: Shampoo and conditioner hair with Theorie Argan Oil Ultimate Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

Step 2: Apply 2-3 pumps of amika Heat Defense Serum into the palm of your hand, emulsify on palms and distribute evenly through damp hair.

Step 3: Blow-dry hair quickly using the Parlux 3800 Ceramic and Ionic Dryer.

Step 4: Starting from the back, section hair into three layers. Leave the bottom layer loose and the clip the rest of your hair up.

Step 5: Take approximately 3 cm wide sections of hair and run the Silver Bullet Keratin Gold 230 Titanium Hair Straightener through each section to straighten and smooth. Continue until all sections of hair have been straightened.

Step 6: After styling, apply 1-2 pumps of amika Heat Defence Serum into the palm of your hand and distribute through your dry hair to add shine.

Step 7: Set the look by spraying hair lightly with amika Touchable Hairspray.
