Hair Type of Tester: Shoulder length, fine, highly coloured blonde hair. Dry ends, prone to oily roots after two days without washing.

Packaging: Aluminium aerosol can. Great size for a dry shampoo (238mL) as a lot of dry shampoos tend be smaller. Distinctive bright yellow can which easily stands out in my jam-packed cupboard of hair styling products.

Texture: The aerosol sprays a fine, white, powdery-looking spray which almost feels wet when sprayed onto the hair yet dries clear with no residue.

Fragrance: A sweet tropical scent of passion flower, rosemary and hibiscus. Smells gorgeous! Leaves a clean, fresh, lingering scent in your hair.

Using TIGI Bed Head Oh Bee Hive Matte Dry Shampoo

Two days prior, I had washed my hair with It Factor Quick Blow Dry Shampoo for Fine Hair and It Factor Quick Blow Dry Conditioner for Fine Hair.

On the second day, I noticed my hair was slightly greasy at the roots. I sprayed TIGI Bedhead Oh Bee Hive (holding can approx. 20cm from the hair) around my hair line and the sections where I had parted my hair for my hairstyle. I left this to settle in my hair for about a minute before brushing through with a Brushworx Porcupine Cushion Hair Brush.

To the touch, my roots had a bit more texture and grit which made my hair super easy to style. All oily residue had been absorbed. The product says it is a matte dry shampoo which I thought might leave my hair looking dull but surprising my hair still has a glossy appearance to it.

My oily roots quickly disappeared and there were no nasty signs of white powdery residue in the hair. My hair smelt clean and fresh again, like I had just washed it but without the hassle!

Would I Use TIGI Bed Head Oh Bee Hive Matte Dry Shampoo Again?

100%! I’ve tested a lot of different dry shampoos, and to have that “AHHHH!” moment when trying a new dry shampoo is very rare. Guess what? I got it with Oh Bee Hive!

Not only did it rid me of my oily roots; it also added texture and volume which made my hair extremely easy to style. The perfect solution for when you just don’t have time to wash your hair. The lingering scent ensures your hair stays fresh, clean and smelling amazing until the next time you jump into the shower.

It’s a bit more expensive than other dry shampoos on the market but the fact that you’re getting a 238ml bottle as opposed to 150mL means this baby will last a lot longer, plus I found you only need to use a small amount. A little spray went a long way. Tigi Bed Head Oh Bee Hive is worth the investment in my book.
